What to Make of Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set once it is live.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Now, the detail that matters. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. But inform your assessment.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
